Navigate Oceania - experience a new world.

AN INTRODUCTION TO OUR WORLD...

Oceania is perhaps the least populated, least visited and least understood region in the world. Comprising much of the globe south of the equator, it can be loosely defined as the South Pacific Ocean.

Man first made his way from Asia to the Pacific Islands many thousands of years ago, island hopping across the great expanse of the Pacific in makeshift craft of hollowed-out trees supporting sails of the palm, flax or skins.

Mankind now populates what are the many island nations of this vast region from the Aborigines of Australia, the largest island in the world, to the famous warrior Maori of New Zealand's stunning North and South Islands, and further east the Polynesians who call home the many Pacific nations, amongst them Fiji with some 300 islands under its flag and French Polynesia's 118 island's spanning an area of ocean the size of Europe.

Despite the 'new world' of the region of Oceania having been 'discovered' by European seafarers including the Dutch, English and French, none are more significant than Englishman Captain James Cook, whose voyages of discovery in the 1700s were famous even then. His voyage around the known world to Australia in search of the fabled Great Southern Land led him further east on his subsequent voyages to New Zealand and across the Pacific Ocean.

Oceania is being re-discovered by a new era of adventurous traveller in a new generation of experiences. Welcome to our world!

COMPANY

It is becoming more and more competitive to provide cost-effective sales, creative marketing and publicity initiatives without large consortium or the branding of international hotel chains.

Navigate partners selected tourism-based clients to success by specialising in tailored marketing and publicity advice and services within the domestic and international markets.

Navigate can do this because we have incomparable international experience, strong working relationships with the travel, tourism and hospitality industry and with a broad spectrum of media both nationally and internationally.

Navigate provides a truly competitive marketing, sales and publicity service to tourism operators via comprehensive marketing and publicity strategies. We target the suppliers and opinion makers of tourism to New Zealand and the Pacific.

‘Perception is all there is. There is no reality as such. There is only perceived reality, the way each of us chooses to perceive a communication, the value of a service, the quality of a produce. Feelings are facts’.
